Big Sur Coast
The Big Sur coastline is one of California's highlights that makes the front cover of international guidebooks. Jagged cliffs jut out of the Pacific as the land rises to soaring heights. The 90 mile drive along the entire length of this Central Coast jewel is one you'll never forget. |

Piedras Blancas
Elephant seals are one of California's most unique creatures. Just north of Hearst Castle, the Piedras Blancas rookery is a vital breeding ground for these gigantic animals. Which of the seals we see on our visit -- bulls, immature males, cows, or pups -- will depend on the time of year.
